Who is responsible
This site sells Signed and Sovereign (ISBN 978-0-6113399-1-1), published under the pen name Elian Voss. The data controller is House of the Zodiac LLC, a Wyoming Limited Liability Company (filing ID 2020-000917771), trading under the Elian Voss Media imprint. What is collected
- Your email address and payment details, when you buy. These are collected and processed by Stripe, not by this site. Card numbers never touch our servers — we never see them and cannot store them.
- Anonymous usage analytics. Page views and a small set of events (a preview opened, a checkout started, a download completed) via Vercel Web Analytics. This is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or track you across other sites.
- Referral source. If you arrive from a tagged link, the campaign parameters are held in your browser's session storage and attached to your order so we know which content led to a sale. They are discarded when you close the tab.
- Your email address, if you opt in to a free resource. Only when you submit it yourself.
What is not collected
No advertising trackers, no third-party marketing pixels, no cross-site profiling, and no sale or sharing of personal information with data brokers. Server logs deliberately exclude email addresses, order identifiers and download links.
Why, and on what basis
Payment and delivery data is processed to perform the contract you entered into when buying the book. Analytics and attribution are processed on a legitimate-interest basis to understand which content works. Marketing email is sent only with your consent, withdrawable at any time.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — payment processing and receipts.
- Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics.
- Resend — transactional email.
Nobody else. No data is sold.
How long it is kept
Order records are retained by Stripe for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Opt-in email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — email EV@houseofthezodiac.com. Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be retained for tax purposes. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, and those are not limited by this policy.
